Te Puna Quarry Park Trip.

We had an amazing time on our Te Puna Quarry Park trip. We enjoyed our walk through the bush and we saw some amazing pieces of art and some cool musical instruments.
A huge thanks to all the parents who helped us on the day.

Beautiful Butterflies - we saw so many butterflies. The butterflies seemed really happy with their home at Te Puna. Did you know that monarch butterflies only live for approximately 2 weeks.

We saw all these shoes tied onto this bridge. Where do you think all these shoes came from? Maybe there is a giant centipede who lives at the park and he is getting rid of all his old shoes. Where do you think the shoes have come from?

Slime

As part of our writing experience we made slime. We had to think of adjectives that could describe our noun slime.
What adjectives can you use to describe our slime? Remember what it looked like, felt like and smelt like.
